This tournament filled with a record 28 teams in 2016, so procrastinate at your peril. As of 1/26/17 we are full in both the A and the B divisions. If you would like to attend but waited too long, do contact us for wait list status, as it is always possible that a MS team will not make. If we get enough teams on the wait lists, we will endeavor to find additional gym space.
First, call email firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure slots are available; then simply download the embedded 2017-ms-tourney-registration-form, fill it out, and mail it to the address indicated on the form. Enclose your registration fee if you are able; if not, we will hold your slot until you have collected player fees from your athletes.
Doors will open at 7 a.m. and play will commence at 8 a.m. sharp. We expect the last match to conclude by 5 p.m. The competition schedule will be posted here about a week prior to the tournament.
There will be no coaches meeting. Rather, we ask that coaches:
- Check in at the tournament desk upon their arrival
- Download and read the coaches-packet-2016-southern-vb-ms-championship-revised which takes the place of a meeting.
We have no on-site concessions. We will provide enough tables for each team to use 1/2 table for food inside SVC. Please do not bring your own tables into SVC, as we do not have room for them. Tables at Mount Pisgah will be furnished.
If you desire more space and weather permits, tailgating outside is permitted and encouraged. If you avail yourselves of this option, please set up your tents in the grassy area in front and to the side of the building — NOT in the parking field and certainly not in front of our neighbors’ vehicles.
Children under 10 are admitted free. All others will need to pay a $5/person entrance fee.
There should be sufficient parking on site for this tournament. If the front lot is full, there is room — along with a second entrance — to the rear of the building. The lot across the street serving AT&T may be used in the event of overflow. Please DON’T park in a reserved spot, a handicap spot (unless your vehicle displays the proper credential) or on the grass. Those who violate this policy will be towed.
