Middle School Volleyball Feeder Program

Announcing SVC’s Third Annual Middle School Volleyball Feeder Program

Southern Volleyball Center (“SVC”) and Volleyperformance (“VP”) served as the “outsource solution” to eight Middle School Volleyball Feeder Programs in 2012 and 2013, and we’re doing it again in 2014..

Following are the details:

Sixth through Eighth-graders who will be feeding into one of the participating high schools.  Though we expect the preponderance of attendees to be girls, boys are welcome.

An introductory, no-cut program to teach middle school children the fundamentals of volleyball.  All skills and positions will be taught by Volleyperformance coaches—coaches chosen specifically for their experience in working with this age group.  Further information about Volleyperformance is available at volleyperformance.com.

Though multiple high schools will be participating in the program, athletes will be teamed with others who will be attending the same High School to the extent possible.  As the season progresses, multiple teams representing each High School will be formed and competition will be introduced in the form of scrimmages, culminating with a season-ending tournament.

Participants will train twice a week–on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., commencing the week on August 18th.

Southern Volleyball Center, a five-court, state-of-the-art, volleyball-only training and tournament venue located on the Roswell/Alpharetta border.  Come in your sneakers and kneepads if you have them.  Kneepads and spandex will be available for purchase at the pro shop if you need either.

$195 per participant, which includes all training, a camp t-shirt, and a donation of $20 to the respective High School Volleyball Booster Club.

Registration is now open.  Click the links below, open the forms, fill them out, and slip them in the mail (along with your check).  Simple as that.

I have a middle schooler who is an advanced beginner. Not quite ready for Club volleyball. I am looking for lessons, clinics of some sort for her to improve her skills. Any suggestions on what I can do?

    Thank you.
